What your Rav said, written down where he asked
new install(0.255.2)

Every screen that tells you to ask your Rav now has a place to write what he answered.

Pick a food and it goes into your record at that moment.

How a version reaches you

📦 marks a release that needs a new install on the phone. ⚡ marks one that arrives over the air into the app you already have. The distinction is the app's own, and it is kept here because it decides whether you have to do anything.

0.254.2 — The bracha alone, and a place to write what the Rav said

Al Hamichya, Al Hagefen and Al Ha'eitz give you the words on one tap. It used to take two.

The tab bar was being painted on top of the words of the bracha. Not any more.

0.253.2 — Your fathers' names, and what Lechem keeps about you

Write down your father, and his father, as far back as you want. Each one with the father's name and the mother's name.

Settings now shows what Lechem keeps about you: see it, take a copy, stop it, or erase it.

Erasing your account used to take somebody else's private record off a shared phone. Fixed 2026-09-01, and nobody told you.

0.252.2 — Hebrew search, and buttons a finger can press

Hebrew search finds a word even when a letter is stuck on the front. Before, it could not.

The buttons at the top of the zmanim screen are big enough to press. They were 19 pixels tall.

0.251.2 — The words, and nothing else — from the blessings screen too

Tap a bracha and you get the words. The tab bar and the counter step out of the way until you close it.

Now from the blessings screen too. 0.246 said this and it was only true of the first screen's card.

Everything comes back when you close it.

0.250.2 — Two fingers, bigger letters

Put two fingers on the screen and spread them. The letters get bigger.

The bracha itself grows now. Before, the page zoomed and the words stayed the same size.

The what's-new list grows too — it had the same fault.

0.249.2 — Thirteen things, fixed

Hebrew and Yiddish pages no longer show English builder's notes in the middle of the tefillah.

Buttons too small for a finger are finger-sized now — fifteen of them on one screen.

A word printed forty-eight times on one screen is said once. Nothing was removed — it still names every control it rode.

The History screen had nothing at all to press. It has doors now.

The Storage screen was wider than the phone in every language. It fits.

0.248.2 — The same build, as an APK

Nothing in the app changed. 0.247 is the file Google Play takes; this is the same build as a direct install.

0.247.2 — The same, in your language

What's new now reads in Hebrew and Yiddish. The 0.246 notes were written in English only.

0.246.2 — The words, and nothing else

Tap a bracha and you get the words. The tab bar and the counter step out of the way until you close it.

The cycle screens are for a woman, above the age of counting, signed in. All three, or they are not there.

Search is on every tab now, not buried under More. It was always there; you could not reach it.

Ask it for a time — shkia, mincha, candle lighting — and it answers with today's minute.

Your family tree keeps everybody. It used to drop anyone without a yahrtzeit date, including you.

A parent's name is stored, so grandparents and great-grandparents hold together as a tree.

Where a person is buried is read from your file and shown.

0.245.2 — The same Lechem, sent again

Nothing in the app changed. Google asks for a new number on every submission, and this is that number.

The health declaration now names only the one category Play's reviewers can actually reach: the food-to-blessing screens.

0.244.2 — The bracha after you eat now knows everything you ate

Say what you ate and you can now name more than one kind — the bracha is spliced for exactly that.

Borei Nefashos was in Lechem and that question could never reach it. Cake and a candy: you can name both.

Three kinds of food gave 7 truthful answers. Four give 15.

The buttons on the bracha card blend into the corner. The paper under the words is untouched.

The card gives back 10px, and the words are exactly as readable as before.

Birthdays are on the People screen's today line. 0.243 said so a build too early.

0.243.2 — Selichos on your seder, and the day is bigger on the screen

Selichos asks for your seder alone, not 1.2 MB of sedarim you never open.

The guard against an install that would erase your Lechem works again.

The kehillah card was 90% of the screen; half folds, the answer stays.

The date and the clock you open onto were 15px tall. They are 44.

The day band gains a second row when the first is not about today.

The location pill stops naming a town you are not in.

The narrator stops reading your agents' messages in a woman's voice.

Birthdays now show on the People screen's today line.

One question at a time under the bracha, not stacked rating strips.

Two rigs measured a phone you do not own. Your 384x832 is in now.

Where everything on this page comes from

  • Every line is the app's own CHANGELOG.md, vendored verbatim. Nothing is summarised or rewritten here.
  • 245 releases were parsed from that file; the 13 most recent are rendered in full.
  • The 📦 / ⚡ distinction is the app's own marking, kept because it decides whether a reinstall is needed.
