Where the app runs today, and how to get it.
Lechem runs on Android today, and this website is its second half. The Android app is on Google Play, and the listing is public — anyone with an Android device can install it from there. Below is exactly what that means for you, whichever of the three you are.
Already have Lechem from the test?
Then let Google Play update it. Do not install a copy handed to you any other way.
An app installed from Play carries Google’s signature, and a copy handed over directly carries ours. Android will not put one on top of the other — it refuses the install. The only way to force it through is to uninstall the app first, and uninstalling erases everything it holds for you: your settings, your history, your records. There is no way to keep them across that swap. If you are on the test, Play already gives you every update by itself, so there is nothing you need to do.
If you were invited to the test
This is the way in.
Your invitation carries the link that turns the test on for your Google account. Open it, accept, and Lechem installs from Google Play like any other app — and updates itself from then on, with nothing to reinstall by hand.

A closed test is a real Google Play install, with the store’s own signature and the store’s own updates. It is invitation-only: only the addresses on the list can see it, and it never appears in a Play search. The build on the test is not always the newest one being worked on — a new build reaches the test only once it has been uploaded and reviewed.
If you were not invited
Then install it from Google Play — no invitation is needed any more.
Lechem is on Google Play, and the listing is public. Open it, install, and Play keeps the app up to date by itself. No download is hosted here, on purpose: the copy from Play is the one that updates itself. The website below is the app’s second half, and it is open to you as well.

Live
- The Android app is real, is being used daily, and ships several builds a day.
- The app is on Google Play and the listing is public: anyone with an Android device installs it from the store, and Play then keeps it updated by itself.
- Sign-in works on this website, so an account made here is the account the app will carry.
- The site publishes the app’s whole screen map in English, Hebrew and Yiddish.
- 99 of the 141 screens on the phone’s map open on this website now, each marked Live — 8 of them with no account, the rest once you sign in.
Planned
- No hosted download of the Android build. A copy handed over directly cannot be installed over a Play install without uninstalling first, and uninstalling erases everything the app holds for you.
- No iPhone build. The app is Android today.
- 42 screens on the map do not open on the web yet; each one arrives with its own working page.
