Lechem runs on Android today, and this website is its second half. The Android app is in a closed test on Google Play — invitation only, and not findable by searching. Below is exactly what that means for you, whichever of the three you are.

Then let Google Play update it. Do not install a copy handed to you any other way.
An app installed from Play carries Google’s signature, and a copy handed over directly carries ours. Android will not put one on top of the other — it refuses the install. The only way to force it through is to uninstall the app first, and uninstalling erases everything it holds for you: your settings, your history, your records. There is no way to keep them across that swap. If you are on the test, Play already gives you every update by itself, so there is nothing you need to do.
If you were invited to the test
This is the way in.
Your invitation carries the link that turns the test on for your Google account. Open it, accept, and Lechem installs from Google Play like any other app — and updates itself from then on, with nothing to reinstall by hand.

A closed test is a real Google Play install, with the store’s own signature and the store’s own updates. It is invitation-only: only the addresses on the list can see it, and it never appears in a Play search. The build on the test is not always the newest one being worked on — a new build reaches the test only once it has been uploaded and reviewed.

Then there is nothing to install yet — and this page will not pretend otherwise.
Lechem has no public Google Play listing yet, so it cannot be found by searching, and no download is hosted here. That is the honest answer today. The website below is the whole app’s second half and it is open to you right now — and when the public listing opens, it appears on this page.

Asking for a copy of the build directly is not a shortcut around this, and it is worth knowing why before you ask. A copy installed that way cannot later be replaced by the Play version without uninstalling — and uninstalling erases everything the app holds for you. Waiting for the listing costs you a little time; the other way can cost you your records.

What this page can and cannot do today
Live
- The Android app is real, is being used daily, and ships several builds a day.
- The app is in a closed test on Google Play: an invited tester installs it from the store, and Play then updates them by itself.
- Sign-in works on this website, so an account made here is the account the app will carry.
- The site publishes the app’s whole screen map in English, Hebrew and Yiddish.
Planned
- No public Google Play listing. The app cannot be found by searching, and the test is invitation-only — so someone who was not invited cannot install it today.
- No hosted download of the Android build. A copy handed over directly cannot be installed over a Play install without uninstalling first, and uninstalling erases everything the app holds for you.
- No iPhone build. The app is Android today.
- No screen from the map opens on the web yet; each one arrives with its own working page.
